Archbishop Gardin a Member of the Congregation for Institutes of Consecrated Life
In recent days, the Holy Father appointed our Archbishop, the Most Reverend Gianfranco Agostino Gardin, a member of the Congregation for Institutes of Consecrated Life and Societies of Apostolic Life.
Before being appointed Bishop of Treviso, 2006-2009, Archbishop Gardin was the Secretary of the same Congregation. In addition to its Prefect and Secretary, the Congregation is comprised of more than 15 cardinals, 30 bishops, monsignors and Ministers General of religious congregations. Of course, Archbishop Gardin is also among them.
