On March 25, 2020, our Minister General, Friar Carlos TROVARELLI, celebrates his 25th anniversary of ordination to the priesthood, thanks to God Three-in-One.
As his confreres, we wish to join his thanksgiving “Te Deum”. Together, let us praise the Lord for choosing, calling and sending Friar Carlos to serve God, the friars, and the whole Order in particular. On this occasion, the Solemnity of the Annunciation, we invite our communities to take part in a moment of prayer and thanksgiving for the gift of Friar Carlos. May the Lord bless him and his priestly ministry for years to come. May He grant him special graces in his service to the whole Order and lead him to the fullness of holiness.
Also during March, Friar Franciscus TAIRA, from the Province of the Immaculate Conception of the B.V.M. in Japan, celebrates his 25th anniversary of ordination to the priesthood, as well.
In addition, this month, many of our confreres celebrate their 50th anniversary of priestly ordination, including the Most Reverend Gianfranco Agostino GARDIN, O.F.M. Conv., Archbishop Emeritus of Treviso, Italy; Friars Carlo VECCHIATO, Isidoro LORENZONI, and Tarcisio MORAO from the Italian Province of St. Anthony of Padua (Northern Italy); Friar Luigi CENCI from the Provincial Custody of St. Bonaventure in France-Belgium; Friar Giorgio ABRAM from the Provincial Custody of St. Anthony of Padua in Ghana; and Friar Giorgio TUFANO from the Province of the Seraphic Father St. Francis in Italy (Naples).
We wish all our brothers the joy of the presence of the Lord. May He always be with them and guide them in their ministry.
