On February 7, 2020, the Dean of the Province of St. Maximilian M. Kolbe in Brazil, Friar Euzebiusz WARGULEWSKI, celebrated his sixtieth anniversary of priestly ordination.

Friar Euzebiusz was born on May 1, 1932, in the city of Osipy Lepertowizna, Poland. He comes from a family with a strong religious tradition and many of his relatives have entered religious life. Some of them are missionaries in Brazil as well.
In 1975, Friar Euzebiusz began his missionary service in Uruau, State of Gois, Brazil, along with three other confreres from the Province of the Immaculate Mother of God in Poland (Warsaw). During his long pastoral experience, in addition to doing parish ministry, he has looked after young vocations, thereby contributing to the growth of the mission.
Friar Euzebiusz is remembered by all for his joviality and listening ability, He placed the sacrament of reconciliation at the heart of his mission. “The priesthood is not only for celebrating Mass,” he said, “but also to grant reconciliation through the Holy Spirit of God, to those who have been lost and are seeking their way back to the Father.”
Congratulations to our brother!
