On September 23, 2025, Friar Ștefan ACATRINEI, the International Spiritual Assistant to the Secular Franciscan Order (OFS) met with twelve postulants belonging to the Conventual Franciscan Province of Our Lady of Guadalupe in Mexico.
The meeting took place at the San Maximiliano M. Kolbe POSTULANCY HOUSE in Valle de Aragón, State of Mexico, Mexico. It lasted approximately one hour, which allowed for some direct and enriching dialogue between Friar Ștefan and the young men in formation. During the meeting, Friar Ștefan shared reflections inspired by the Canticle of the Creatures, he pointed out the importance of offering all the gifts we receive back to God. . He explained that expropriating one’s gifts is a way of continuing to receive abundant divine graces. The postulants actively participated, taking the opportunity to discuss and strengthen their vocation and their formation journey within the Order. Friar Ștefan plans to travel to the State of Jalisco, Mexico, where he will participate in the National Chapter of the OFS in Mexico. The Chapter will be held on September 26-28, 2025, at the Valle de la Misericordia House of Prayer in Tlaquepaque.
