On July 15-20, 2024, an initiative called: “Vacationing with the Immaculata” was held at n the friary in Niepokalanów Lasek, Poland, a presence of the Province of the Immaculate Mother of God in Poland (Warsaw). The event was aimed at children and youth of the Archdiocese of Częstochowa and its surroundings, under the motto: “Be holy, for I…am holy” (Lev 19:2).

“Vacationing with the Immaculata” was designed as a spiritual retreat aimed at showing how to strive for holiness in a simple way.
About forty children and youth participated in the retreat , which was led by Father Marek SZCZEPAŃCZYK, assisted by some lay persons.
This was an unforgettable occasion, which included some powerful moments, such as daily Mass and adoration of the Blessed Sacrament.
It was an enjoyable event that demonstrated how our daily lives can lead us to holiness if we are faithful in little things. The event was also full of new experiences; chief among them was meeting new friends.
