During the session of the General Definitory held September 17, 2024, at the Friary of the Twelve Holy Apostles in Rome, Friar Giuseppe Myoungjin PARK swore his oath of fidelity and officially began his service as Assistant General for the Federation of Asian Minor Conventuals (FAMC). Friar Giuseppe takes the place of Friar Benedetto BAEK.
Friar Giuseppe was born on April 9, 1979. He is a member of the Province of St. Maximilian M. Kolbe in South Korea. He made his simple profession on February 10, 2004, and his solemn profession on February 2, 2007. He was ordained to the diaconate on December 14, 2007, and ordained to the priesthood on July 3, 2009.
On behalf of the entire Order, we thank Friar Benedetto for his more than twelve years of service as the FAMC Assistant General. At the same time, we thank Friar Giuseppe for his willingness to take on this role. We wish him success and fulfillment in his new responsibilities.
