On July 18-22, 2022, the Province of the Immaculate Mother of God in Poland (Warsaw) conducted its annual retreat for families. The event took place at the friary in Niepokalanów-Lasek, Poland, which is also the Provincial headquarters for the Militia of the Immaculata (M.I.).
The participants explored the topic of communication between spouses and how to build happier marital relationships. The retreat included reflection on the Word of God, personal prayer, meetings with invited guests and conversation. Children attending the retreat took part in activities of their own, which included time for prayer, learning and play. During the retreat, many of those attending renewed their marriage vows and joined the M.I. They also participated in the traditional “Na Maxa” family Olympics and were awarded some sweet treats as prizes.
