{"id":12382,"date":"2018-12-07T11:57:15","date_gmt":"2018-12-07T10:57:15","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/ofmconv.net\/brasile-visita-alle-case-di-formazione\/"},"modified":"2018-12-10T12:01:18","modified_gmt":"2018-12-10T11:01:18","slug":"brasile-visita-alle-case-di-formazione","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.ofmconv.net\/en\/brasile-visita-alle-case-di-formazione\/","title":{"rendered":"Brazil: Formation Houses Visited"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>During their last two trips to Brazil in October and November of 2018, the Vicar General, Friar Jerzy NOREL and the Assistant General for the Federaci\u00f3n Am\u00e9rica Latina Conventuales (FALC), Friar Carlos TROVARELLI, made joint visits to some of the formation houses in Brazil.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>In the Province of St. Francis in Brazil (S\u00e3o Paulo), they visited the international novitiate (S\u00e3o Benedito friary) in in Ca\u00e7apava, S\u00e3o Paulo State and the postulancy house (Santo Ant\u00f4nio friary) in Cascavel, Paran\u00e0 State.<br \/>\nIn the Province of St. Maximilian M. Kolbe in Brazil (Brasilia) they visited the postulancy house (Santa Maria dos Anjos friary) in Brasilia and the post-novitiate house for theology studies (S\u00e3o Francisco de Assis Formation House at the S\u00e3o Boaventura friary) in the Federal District of Brasilia.<br \/>\nWhile in the Province of St. Francis in Brazil (S\u00e3o Paulo), the Vicar General also visited the postulancy house (S\u00e3o Francisco friary) in Curitiba, Parana State and the post-novitiate house for theology studies (Senhor do Bonfim friary) in Santo Andr\u00e9, S\u00e3o Paulo State.<br \/>\nAt all of the formation houses, the visitors listened to the young men in formation and held discussions with them and their formators about various aspects of the life of the Order.<br \/>\nThe four Jurisdictions in Brazil share a common novitiate, which also includes some novices from the Provincial Custody of Our Lady of Coromoto in Venezuela. Furthermore, all of the Jurisdictions have their own aspirancy and postulancy programs. At present, there are two post-novitiate formation houses, one in Brasilia and the other in Santo Andr\u00e9 (S\u00e3o Paulo). Both of them accept men in formation from other Jurisdictions.
