{"id":15284,"date":"2019-05-04T16:16:03","date_gmt":"2019-05-04T14:16:03","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/ofmconv.net\/bruxelles-incontro-della-custodia-di-francia-belgio\/"},"modified":"2019-05-04T16:18:20","modified_gmt":"2019-05-04T14:18:20","slug":"bruxelles-incontro-della-custodia-di-francia-belgio","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.ofmconv.net\/en\/bruxelles-incontro-della-custodia-di-francia-belgio\/","title":{"rendered":"Brussels: Meeting of the Custody of France-Belgium"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>From April 23 to 26, 2019, the Conventual Franciscan Provincial Custody of St. Bonaventure in France-Belgium held its annual Custodial meeting at the Saint Anthony of Padua friary in Brussels, Belgium.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The meeting was an opportunity to pray together and reflect upon the \u201cnew ecological lifestyle\u201d proposed by Pope Francis in his encyclical Laudato Si\u2019. The concept of \u201chuman ecology\u201d mentioned in the papal document was the theme of a lecture presented by Mr. Xavier LAMBARD.<br \/>\nTo help them better understand the Pontiff&#8217;s message, the friars were shown a film: Pope Francis &#8211; Man of the Word (Le Pape Fran\u00e7ois &#8211; Un homme de Parole).<br \/>\nAfterwards, there was a meeting of the Custody\u2019s Guardians and Economs. They discussed their latest experiences and plans regarding the fraternal life of the Custody.<br \/>\nFinally, on Thursday, April 25, the friars made a pilgrimage to the Marian Shrine of Banneux (Notre-Dame de Banneux).
