{"id":28315,"date":"2020-10-10T12:47:13","date_gmt":"2020-10-10T10:47:13","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/ofmconv.net\/italia-professione-solenne\/"},"modified":"2020-10-10T12:48:46","modified_gmt":"2020-10-10T10:48:46","slug":"italia-professione-solenne","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.ofmconv.net\/en\/italia-professione-solenne\/","title":{"rendered":"Italy: Solemn Profession"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>On Saturday, October 3, 2020, the Italian Province of St. Anthony of Padua (Northern Italy), and its Provincial Custody of St. Anthony of Padua in Ghana, celebrated and thanked God as they shared in a special event at the Basilica of St. Anthony in Padua.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>This was a special Mass which included the rite of solemn profession for Friars Jonathan MUTUO and Sylvester Eugene KOOMSON, two young confreres from the Custody of Ghana. These men are living de familia at the San Giovanni Battista and Sant\u2019Antonio di Padova Friary in nearby Camposampiero, Italy. Both friars are studying theology at the Theological Faculty of the Triveneto in Padua.<br \/>\nMany friars came to participate in this beautiful and significant celebration, especially friars currently serving or studying in Italy, including some from the Custody of Ghana.<br \/>\nThe rite was presided over by the Vicar Provincial, Friar Roberto M. BRANDINELLI. A choir of clerical students from the Sant\u2019Antonio Dottore di Padova Theological Seminary animated the event with song.
