{"id":43426,"date":"2022-03-22T16:01:56","date_gmt":"2022-03-22T15:01:56","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/ofmconv.net\/brasile-ordinazione-diaconale\/"},"modified":"2022-03-22T16:03:08","modified_gmt":"2022-03-22T15:03:08","slug":"brasile-ordinazione-diaconale","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.ofmconv.net\/en\/brasile-ordinazione-diaconale\/","title":{"rendered":"Brazil: Diaconal Ordination"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>On March 19, 2022, the Solemnity of St. Joseph, Spouse of the Blessed Virgin Mary, the Provincial Custody of the Immaculate Conception of the B.V.M. in Brazil joyfully celebrated the diaconal ordination of Friar Jesus RODRIGUES DO AMARAL.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The ordination took place at the S\u00e3o Pedro e S\u00e3o Paulo Church, which is entrusted to the Santo Ant\u00f4nio dos Pobres Friary in the city of Para\u00edba do Sul, State of Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. Those present included the Provincial Custos, Friar Ronaldo GOMES DA SILVA, all the members of his Definitory, friars representing the friaries of the Custody, the formators, some religious, faithful, benefactors, and the relatives and friends of the new deacon.<br \/>\nFriar Jesus was born on May 27, 1991, in Luzi\u00e2nia, State of Goi\u00e1s, Brazil. He made his simple profession on February 8, 2018, and his solemn profession on August 2, 2021. Since January 2022, he has been a member of the Santo Ant\u00f4nio dos Pobres Community in Para\u00edba do Sul, State of Rio de Janeiro.<br \/>\nMay God be praised for the vocation of our confrere who has taken another step in his Franciscan formation towards the priesthood.
