{"id":47523,"date":"2022-08-23T08:16:01","date_gmt":"2022-08-23T06:16:01","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/ofmconv.net\/ameryka-srodkowa-braterska-wizyta-asystenta-generalnego\/"},"modified":"2022-08-23T08:18:38","modified_gmt":"2022-08-23T06:18:38","slug":"ameryka-srodkowa-braterska-wizyta-asystenta-generalnego","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.ofmconv.net\/en\/ameryka-srodkowa-braterska-wizyta-asystenta-generalnego\/","title":{"rendered":"Central America: Fraternal Visit of the Assistant General"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>From July 27 to August 11, 2022, the Assistant General for the Federaci\u00f3n Am\u00e9rica Latina Conventuales (FALC), Friar Rog\u00e9rio PEREIRA XAVIER, made a fraternal visit to the friars of the Provincial Custody of Mary, Mother of Mercy in Central America.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The Provincial Custos, Friar Jorge A. DOBLES ULLOA, accompanied Friar Rog\u00e9rio during his visit. Friar Rog\u00e9rio\u2019s goal was to visit every presence of the Jurisdiction, in order to speak with each of the friars. He began with the friaries in Honduras (July 27-29). Then, he visited the post-novitiate house in El Salvador (July 30-August 1). From there, he went on to Guatemala (August 2-4) and finally Costa Rica (August 5-11) where he visited the Custody\u2019s three friaries in that country, namely, the postulancy house, the college and the Custodial curia.<br \/>\nThis visit helped Friar Rog\u00e9rio get to know the entire Conventual Franciscan presence in Central America and better understand the reality that the friars are facing in this part of Latin American.
