The event took place at the Jardim da Imaculada Shrine Church in Cidade Ocidental, Goi\u00e1s State, Brazil.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Friar Jesus was ordained by the Most Reverend Fernando Jos\u00e9 MONTEIRO GUIMAR\u00c3ES, Archbishop Emeritus of Brazil, Military. The ordination was attended by the Provincial Custos, Friar Carlos Roberto de Oliveira CHARLES and the Minister Provincial of the Province of St. Maximilian M. Kolbe in Brazil, Friar Gilberto DE JESUS RODRIGUES, as well as confreres, friends and family.<br \/>\nFor the slogan of his ordination, Friar Jesus chose the Gospel passage: \u201cIt was not you who chose me, but I who chose you\u201d (Jn 15:16).<br \/>\nThe previous day, October 21, Friar Fernando PEREIRA DE ANDRADE JUNIOR renewed his simple vows and received the Ministry of Acolyte.
