Kolbe in South Korea conducted its annual continuing formation meeting for the friars of the Province. The meeting took place at the St. Francis of Assisi Friary in Seoul, South Korea.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The theme of the event was: <em>\u201cThe History and Life of the Friars Minor Conventual &#8211; from 1209 to 1976.\u201d<\/em> The speakers were Friars Peter (Hyeong-geun) LEE and Stefano (Da-han) LEE. They worked from a Korean translation of the book with the same title.<br \/>\nThe experience was made more meaningful for the friars of the Province of South Korea as they reflected on the life and history of our confreres from the beginning of the Order up to recent times, and meditated on how to live as Conventuals today.<br \/>\nThe event gave us an opportunity to remember that the vitality of the Order lies in living the Gospel and responding to the needs of the world and the Church.<br \/>\nWe hope and pray that the Order will continue to grow, based on the lessons of its history.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: right;\">Friar Bonaventure Kyuhee HAN, Provincial Secretary<\/p>\nngg_shortcode_0_placeholder\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>On November 21-26, 2022, the Province of St. Maximilian M.
