{"id":58171,"date":"2023-08-23T14:02:22","date_gmt":"2023-08-23T12:02:22","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/ofmconv.net\/assisi-esercizi-spirituali-per-i-professi-solenni-femo\/"},"modified":"2023-08-23T14:06:21","modified_gmt":"2023-08-23T12:06:21","slug":"assisi-esercizi-spirituali-per-i-professi-solenni-femo","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.ofmconv.net\/en\/assisi-esercizi-spirituali-per-i-professi-solenni-femo\/","title":{"rendered":"Assisi: Spiritual Retreat for Solemnly Professed Friars of the FEMO Federation"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>On July 12-19, 2023, the Franciscanum community in Assisi hosted a group of friars from the <em>Foederatio Europae Mediae et Orientalis<\/em> (FEMO).<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The group, composed of eleven friars from Poland, Russia, the Czech Republic and Slovakia, came to Assisi for a spiritual retreat at the conclusion of their continuing formation course for solemnly professed friars held in Harm\u0119\u017ce, Poland.<br \/>\nThe course, entitled, \u201c Francis of Assisi: Icon of the Converted Man,\u201d was led by the Guardian of the friary in Harm\u0119\u017ce, Friar Jerzy NOREL. It retraced the spiritual journey of St. Francis during various moments of his life, his conversion and his following of Christ.<br \/>\nThis was a beautiful and rich experience, despite the fatigue of a heatwave. It was characterized by reflections, pilgrimages, fraternal discussions and visiting places dear to our founder.
