{"id":60660,"date":"2023-10-30T12:41:57","date_gmt":"2023-10-30T11:41:57","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/ofmconv.net\/slovenia-capitolo-spirituale-2\/"},"modified":"2023-10-30T12:43:45","modified_gmt":"2023-10-30T11:43:45","slug":"slovenia-capitolo-spirituale-2","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.ofmconv.net\/en\/slovenia-capitolo-spirituale-2\/","title":{"rendered":"Slovenia: Spiritual Chapter"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>On October 24-25, 2023, the friars of the Province of St. Joseph in Slovenia celebrated a Spiritual Chapter on the theme: <em>\u201cOur Calling and New Vocations.\u201d<\/em> The event took place at the Saints Peter and Paul Friary in Ptuj, Slovenia.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Friar \u0160tefan KO\u017dUH, OFM Cap., gave a reflection in which he encouraged the friars to put their relationship with God at the center of their consecrated life. Thus, the friars have a great responsibility to cultivate personal and community prayer. Life with God is never a finished process. It is a transition from who I am to my full conformity in Jesus Christ. Only in this way will Jesus one day triumph in me. Therefore, we should choose the \u201cstrong season\u201d each week, month and year. St. Francis is a beautiful example for us.<br \/>\nSister \u0160tefka KLEMEN (Ursulines) gave a reflection about vocations. To begin, we should live our vocation with joy, a joy which must always be rekindled. Only then can we tell others that, though we are all called to various ministries after baptism, some of us have been called to religious life and the priesthood. Those who receive a vocation are to be guided, trained and formed.<br \/>\nFriar Stjepan BR\u010cINA, OFM Conv., gave a presentation on the apostolate he is carrying out among the youth of Zagreb, Croatia, and many other places. He organizes a weekly meeting that consists of the celebration of Mass, catechesis, adoration and the possibility of going to confession.
