{"id":8314,"date":"2018-07-31T19:50:02","date_gmt":"2018-07-31T17:50:02","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/ofmconv.net\/santo-andre-settimana-missionaria\/"},"modified":"2018-07-31T19:59:46","modified_gmt":"2018-07-31T17:59:46","slug":"santo-andre-settimana-missionaria","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.ofmconv.net\/en\/santo-andre-settimana-missionaria\/","title":{"rendered":"Santo Andr\u00e9: Missionary Week"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>On July 14-21, 2018, a missionary week took place with youth from the city of Santo Andr\u00e9 in Brazil.<br \/>\n<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The participants included forty young people, two aspirants, two Missionary Sisters of Assisi and Friar Fl\u00e1vio Martins VEN\u00c1NCIO who is the vocation promoter for the Province of St. Francis of Assisi in Brazil.<br \/>\nThe young people went from house to house, proclaiming the message of Jesus in the manner of Francis, bringing with them joy and peace. They also participated in a Mass with the friars from the common formation program of the Federaci\u00f3n Am\u00e9rica Latina Conventuales (FALC). The participants also visited the local mental institution and the headquarters of the Militia of the Immaculata. There was also some traditional evangelization carried out in the town squares.<br \/>\nWe thank God for his every blessing. We are grateful to him and joyful to be Franciscans. The Church is alive!
