This meeting brings together young people and friars every year on the second weekend of October. This year, nearly fifty young people attended along with six friars from various friaries in Germany. Together, they reflected on the theme of hope.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The meeting is organized by the Province of St. Elizabeth in Germany. The friaries of the Province of Germany and the Delegation of Poland in Germany take turns hosting it each year. This year, supported by the friars of Germany, the meeting was hosted by the Provincial Delegation in Germany belonging to the Province of St. Maximilian M. Kolbe in Poland (Gda\u0144sk).<br \/>\nThe meeting program began on Friday evening and ended on Sunday afternoon. It offered participants time for prayer, nature activities, fraternal encounters, and four workshops inspired by the guiding theme of \u201cHope As a Personal Decision,\u201d which can be renewed every day through gratitude, kind words, and good deeds.<br \/>\nOne of the most significant events during the meeting was a visit to a local hospice, where the young people learned firsthand about the work of those who bring hope to people in the final stages of life. The young people also made short videos with messages of encouragement for the sick, the discouraged, and those living in fear. They also created colorful mosaics as a memento of this hope-filled weekend.<br \/>\nMany participants chose to receive a personal blessing and be reconciled with God through the sacrament of confession.
