As of today February 2, 2026, the World Day of Consecrated Life, the 2025–2031 Six-Year Plan of the Order of Friars Minor Conventual is available for download. This document will guide the life and mission of the Order over the next six years.

The document opens with the Letter of the Minister General, Friar Carlos A. TROVARELLI, dated January 1, 2026, in which he offers a spiritual reading of the present time and identifies an expression by Pope Leo XIV: “… So That Christ May Remain” as the key to the six-year term.
This document is the result of the discernment of the 203rd Ordinary General Chapter, held in Rome in June of 2025. It contains the Motions approved by the Chapter, which are an expression of the supreme authority of the Order and the foundation of our common journey now underway. It also presents the Six-Year Plan itself, offering a broad outline that will guide the six-year term—hope, charismatic identity, and mission—and articulates these orientations through the Chapter Motions, which provide concrete criteria for formation, fraternal life, governance, and mission in all of the Jurisdictions.
As a whole, the Six-Year Plan expresses a clearly evangelical and Franciscan style, centered on the primacy of Christ, minority, and mission availability. It is an invitation to the Provinces, Custodies, and friar communities of the Order to journey together, to interpret the present with hope, and to embrace the future direction of the coming six-year period with shared responsibility.

The document is available in the four official languages of the Order—Italian, Spanish, English, and Polish—in three versions: a continuous PDF for reading, a booklet format ready for double-sided printing in standard colors, and a second version of the same booklet in light colors, designed to save toner.
