On May 22, 2021, the Vigil of Pentecost was celebrated in the Cathedral of San Rufino in Assisi. This year, the event was particularly notable for the Order.

The Most Reverend Dominic SORRENTINO, Bishop of Assisi-Nocera Umbra-Gualdo Tadino, presided over the vigil Mass, which began at 8:30 p.m. Those attending included many religious and lay people as well as members of the diocesan clergy.
The beautiful and well-attended celebration was animated by an excellent choir. During the Mass, new ministries were conferred upon members of the post-novitiate community of Rivotorto.
After completing a preparatory course taught by Friar Dino BERTOLIN of the Sacred Convent, Friars Emanuele ANTINORI and Domenico TORRE received the Ministry of Lector. After being guided by Friar Antonello FANELLI, the Guardian of the Franciscanum, Friars Ettore FILIPPUCCI and Daniele REITANO received the Ministry of Acolyte.
During the same vigil Mass, the Rivotorto fraternity watched as the “Ministry of Collaborator of the Word” was conferred upon two of its local parishioners, Monia and Elisa. Both attended the online classes conducted by Father Antonio BORGO. From now on, they will be even more closely involved in the liturgical life of the community.
The end of the Easter season, therefore, was a particularly significant time for the formation and parish community of Rivotorto. It was a time filled with the hope of being guided by the Holy Spirit, whose first fruits are already being seen.
