On October 14-18, 2024, the friars of the Provincial Delegation in Belarus, of the Province of the Immaculate Mother of God in Poland (Warsaw), conducted their annual spiritual retreat. The event took place at the friary in Ivyanyets, Belarus.
For the friars, it was a time of deep spiritual reflection, of experiencing the fraternal spirit, and of being immersed in prayer and the Word of God.
The culmination of the retreat was a fraternal meeting at which the friars talked about current issues in the Delegation and planned various activities. They discussed several topics, including the pastoral care of young people and altar boys, the Secular Franciscan Order, the Soldiers of Mary movement (Wojownicy Maryi), the Militia of the Immaculata, biblical retreats, music workshops, and conferences for youth and adults entitled, “A Weekend with Mary.”
After the retreat and Delegation meeting, each friar returned to his community and daily duties with gratitude to God and renewed enthusiasm for putting the Gospel into practice.
