On November 21, 2020, the feast of the Presentation of the Blessed Virgin Mary, Friar Wiktor Maria MIELESZKO made his solemn profession.
The celebration took place in the Friary Church of Our Lady of the Angels in Grodno, Belarus, the birthplace of our brother. Friar Wiktor professed his solemn vows into the hands of Friar Antoni POŻECKI, Delegate of the Provincial Delegation in Belarus. The Delegation belongs to the Province of the Immaculate Mother of God in Poland (Warsaw).
Friar Wiktor was born on November 9, 1994. He entered the postulancy program in 2012, after high school. He underwent formation at the seminary in Łódź Łagiewniki, Poland, and made his simple profession on September 13, 2014.
Due to the pandemic, only friars from the friaries in Belarus could attend the ceremony. It was a very important event for our presence.
The confreres from Belarus ask for your special prayers, because the political situation in the country remains tense and troubling.
