On January 7, 2022, Friar Denis Yooseok OH, a member of the Province of St. Maximilian M. Kolbe in South Korea, was ordained to the priesthood by the imposition of the hands of the Most Reverend John Baptist Shin-chul JUNG, Bishop of Incheon, South Korea.
The ordination took place at the Church of the Catholic University of Incheon. Due to the pandemic, participation in the event was limited to the ten candidates (eight diocesan and two religious), their family members and some pastors and religious superiors. Friar Denis was born in Busan, South Korea, on March 29, 1993. He made his simple profession on February 10, 2017, his solemn profession on February 11, 2020, and was ordained to the diaconate on January 7, 2021.
