On February 8, 2021, the Province of St. Maximilian M. Kolbe in South Korea vested a new novice. The event took place in the chapel of the Friary of the Immaculate Conception Convent of the B.V.M. in Daegu, South Korea.
The new confrere is Friar Gioachim Hwan-seok SEONG. The vesting rite was attended by the Minister Provincial, Friar Marco Jin Chol JEONG, the Provincial Secretary for Mission Animation and the resident friars of the friary in Daegu. Due to the pandemic, the other friars of the Province were unable to participate. Thus, the other confreres could only keep the new novice in their prayers.
