On June 6-11, 2021, the Extraordinary Provincial Chapter of the Province of St. Anthony and Bl. James of Strepar in Poland (Cracow) was celebrated at the St. Maximilian Kolbe Center in Harmęże, near Oświęcim [Auschwitz], Poland.

The capitulars approved the new Provincial Statutes by a qualified majority. At the end of the meeting, the Minister Provincial, Friar Marian GOŁĄB, asked the friars to be ambassadors of this document and its contents. At the same time, he reminded them that the main goal is to follow the Statutes and put them into practice every day.
Those participating in the Chapter included the Minister Provincial; his Definitory; the Capitulars; the Assistant General for the Foederatio Europae Mediae et Orientalis (FEMO), Friar Tomáš LESŇÁK; and the Provincial Custodes of Bolivia, Slovakia and the Ukraine.
The Most Reverend Stanisław DOWLASZEWICZ BILLMAN, OFM Conv., Auxiliary Bishop of Santa Cruz de la Sierra, Bolivia, was also present. The bishop visited with the Capitulars and presided over a Mass honoring the Blessed Missionary Martyrs Zbigniew STRZAŁKOWSKI and Michał TOMASZEK on the day of their liturgical memorial (June 7). The bishop also provided a homily.
On the last day of the Chapter, the Minister General, Friar Carlos TROVARELLI, met online with the Capitulars. He expressed his conviction that this year, the 30th anniversary of the martyrdom of Blessed Zbigniew and Michał, the Lord God is inviting the friars of this Jurisdiction to be even more open to something new and prophetic; to rethink their presence and their commitment to face the challenges of the modern world, in Poland and elsewhere—especially the missions.
At the end of the Chapter, the Minister Provincial entrusted the entire Province, and all the friars, to the Sacred Heart of Jesus.
