From October 23-27, 2022, a retreat for adult members of the Militia of the Immaculata (M.I.) took place at the friary in Niepokalanów-Lasek, Poland, a presence of the Province of the Immaculate Mother of God in Poland (Warsaw).

The theme of the M.I. retreat was “In Defense of the Catholic Church.” The meditations were led by Friar Stanisław M. PIĘTKA. Mass was the highlight of each day. The program also included the Officium parvum Conceptionis Immaculatae [the Little Office of the Immaculate Conception], the Divine Mercy Chaplet and the Rosary. The participants learned more about the words contained in the Act of Consecration to the Immaculata according to St. Maximilian. On the last day, two people joined the M.I. and some other militia members renewed their consecration.
A few days earlier, the fall meeting of the M.I. Assistants, Presidents and Animators was held. The theme was, “Members of the Militia of the Immaculata Sent Forth in the Peace of Christ.”
During the last days of October, an M.I. weekend was conducted for over ninety children. The main theme of the event was, “Consecration to the Mother of God in Practice as a Condition for Being Members of the Militia of the Immaculata.” The children shared their ideas on how to be militia members in everyday life and to serve Mary. The meeting ended with a presentation on consecrating oneself to Our Lady. The children departed Niepokalanów-Lasek happy and joyful, hoping and waiting for the next meeting.
