On December 8, 2021, the Solemnity of the Immaculate Conception of the Blessed Virgin Mary, Friars Przemysław WALCZAK and Kacper WIATR made their solemn profession. Both are members of the Province of St. Maximilian M. Kolbe in Poland (Gdańsk).

The profession ceremony took place during Mass at the Shrine of Our Lady of Consolation in Gniezno, Poland. The Minister Provincial, Friar Wojciech KULIG, presided. The current Guardians of the newly professed, Friars Mariusz FAŁKOWSKI and Robert ZBIERAŃSKI, were also present. Others attending included the relatives of the newly professed, a number of friars from the Province, some clerical students from the post novitiate community in Łódź Łagiewniki and some postulants from the community in Gniezno.
In his homily, the Minister Provincial stressed: “You are taking vows to live in poverty, obedience and chastity. Each of these vows is equally important and valuable in following the One whom St. Francis loved so much. In our following of Christ, we strive for holiness and by putting the evangelical counsels into practice, we must increasingly become a credible sign to the world.”
Later during the ceremony, Friars Przemysław and Kacper signed their names into the Book of Professions. At the end of the liturgy both friars thanked their families, their formators and all those who supported them in their vocation.
