On Saturday, December 7, 2019, the eve of the Solemnity of the Immaculate Conception, four friars from the Province of the Immaculate Mother of God in Poland (Warsaw) and two more from the Province of St. Maximilian M. Kolbe in Poland (Gdańsk) made their solemn profession.

The profession ceremony took place at the Shrine of St. Anthony of Padua in Łódź Łagiewniki, near the St. Bonaventure Seminary. Many friars, family members and friends of the newly professed took part. The Mass was presided over by Friar Wiesław PYZIO, the Minister Provincial of Warsaw, who also gave the homily. Friar Tomasz RYŁKO, the Vicar Provincial of the Province of Gdańsk concelebrated. The liturgy was animated by the seminary choir, which also performed Gregorian chant.
Those making their solemn profession were Friars Tomasz GÓRKA; Grzegorz IWIERKOSZ; Adam ŚLUSARCZYK; and Jakub GALASZEWSKI—all from the Province of Warsaw. From the Province of Gdansk there were Friars Paweł ZIEŃKOW and Michał WIĘCH.
May these newly professed friars find true joy and abundant spiritual fruit in their decision to live forever in obedience, without anything of their own and in chastity.
