On Sunday, October 10, 2021, at 12 noon, the entire community of the Friary of St. Bonaventure – Seraphicum in Rome gathered for Mass in the Seraphicum college chapel to bid farewell to the outgoing Guardian, Friar Felice FIASCONARO. The Mass was presided over by the Minister General, Friar Carlos A. TROVARELLI.

The friars gathered around the altar with the Minister General, and thanked God for the gift of Friar Felice and the valuable work he has done in recent years. Also during the Mass, Friar Adam MĄCZKA of the Province of St. Anthony and Bl. James of Strepar in Poland (Cracow) accepted the office of Guardian, and made his profession of faith. Friar Adam has been serving as the Rector of the Seraphicum International College since 2016.
Before the final blessing, Friar Felice warmly thanked the community and mentioned the important spiritual heritage of the friars who have departed in the last few years. The Mass ended with a special blessing given to Friar Felice by the Minister General, who then blessed the entire assembly.
Heartfelt thanks and fraternal best wishes to Friar Felice, who will return to his home Province of St. Agatha and St. Lucy in Italy (Sicily) to continue his service at the San Francesco d’Assisi all’Immacolata Friary in Messina.
