On the evening of June 11, 2025, the Elective Assembly of the Federazione Inter-mediterranea Ministri Provinciali (FIMP) for the 2025-2029 term was held at the Seraphicum College in Rome.
The early meeting, held ahead of the usual September schedule, took place while the 203rd General Chapter was in progress. The timing was driven by the need to reorganize the Presidency promptly, given the recent changes that followed the Provincial Chapters held across Italy in the past months.
As a result, with Friar Paul DARMANIN, the current Vicar Provincial of the Province of St. Paul the Apostle in Malta, replacing Friar Colin Charles SAMMUT (who was elected as the new General Assistant for the FIMP Federation), all the Ministers Provincial, Custodes, and Delegates of the Federation voted in a secret ballot to elect the new President and Presidency Council. They are as follows:
President: Friar Roberto BRANDINELLI
Vice President: Friar Daniele MAIORANO
Councilor: Friar Marco MORONI
Councilor: Friar Damian-Gheorghe PĂTRAȘCU
At the next meeting of the FIMP Elective Assembly, the Secretary and Econom of the Federation will be elected.
Before concluding the meeting, all of the participants confirmed the dates for the next Ordinary General Assembly, which will take place starting the evening of September 22, 2025 to the morning of September 27, 2025, in Oradea, Romania.
