On March 19, 2022, the Solemnity of St. Joseph, Spouse of the Blessed Virgin Mary, Friar Hunor Tamás ZSÓK professed his solemn vows. Friar Hunor is a member of the Provincial Delegation in Hungary and Transylvania, which is part of the Province of St. Maximilian M. Kolbe in Poland (Gdansk). The event took place at the Church of St. Anthony of Padua in Eger, Hungary.

The Provincial Delegate of Hungary, Friar Paweł CEBULA, presided over the celebration. The Minister Provincial, Friar Wojciech KULIG, gave the homily and received Friar Hunor’s vows. Others attending the ceremony included the Vicar Provincial, Friar Andrzej LENGENFELD; the friars from the friaries in Miskolc and Arad; and the clerical students from the seminary in Eger, where Friar Hunor will be continuing his theological formation. Also present were Friar Hunor’s mother and brother, and many family members and friends.
We wish Friar Hunor the protection of St. Francis of Assisi, St. Elizabeth of Hungary and St. Maximilian M. Kolbe, as he continues in his religious vocation.
