May 3, 2020, is the Fourth Sunday of Easter, also called, “Good Shepherd Sunday.” We are dedicating that Sunday to pray for vocations.
In honor of the 57th World Day of Prayer for Vocations, the friars of the Provincial Custody of St. Bonaventure in France-Belgium are inviting everyone to pray a novena for vocations with them. The novena prayers will be posted on their website: vocationfranciscaine.com, starting Saturday April 25, 2020. The novena is in French. Each day, a particular aspect of the Franciscan charism (prayer, fraternity, mission, joy, minority, etc.) will be offered for meditation by means of a video presentation and the praying of a Pater, an Ave and a Gloria for vocations to the religious and priestly life.
May God always grant his Church new and holy vocations. May they, like Jesus the Good Shepherd, know, guide and comfort each of His children.
