On May 21-22, 2024, the friars of the “Rioplatense” Province of St. Anthony of Padua in Argentina-Uruguay celebrated their first Assembly of the 2023-27 four-year term. The event took place at the Inmaculada Center of the Father Kolbe Missionary Sisters of the Immaculata in Olavarría, Province of Buenos Aires, Argentina.
During the Assembly, the friars attended Mass and the Liturgy of the Hours, met in groups, reflected on the status of their Province―based on the Provincial Four-Year Plan, and evaluated the life of each friary.
All of the friars had an opportunity to talk about his own vocational journey, and it allowed them to rediscover how the Lord God calls us in different ways and through different forms of mediation.
In the evenings after dinner, some festive time was organized with songs from Argentina and Uruguay.
