The Solemnity of Christ the King is traditionally the day when the community of the Sacred Convent in Assisi celebrates the jubilees of its confreres.
Thus, during Mass at 10:30 a.m., in the Basilica of St Francis, Friar Edoardo BRENTARI celebrated his 60th anniversary of religious profession; Friars Gianni HUANG, Paolo LIU and Antonio PARISI celebrated their 25th anniversary of religious profession; and Friars Wiesław PYZIO and Andrea KIM celebrated their 25th anniversary of priestly ordination. The Mass was presided over by Friar Igor SALMIČ, the Assistant General for the Centralis Europae Foederatio (CEF) and was animated by the basilica choir, directed by Friar Peter HRDY.
After the Mass, the celebrations continued in the refectory with a festive lunch.
