On September 18-20, 2018, the General Exactor Friar Wojtek KULIG and the Assistant General for the CEF (Centralis Europae Foederatio), Friar Miljenko HONTIĆ, visited the community of Brussels and the three friars of Belgium who belong to the Delegation of Holland and live near Brussels.
The three friars of Belgium, Friar Andreas VERSTRAETEN (78), Friar Remigius GELISSEN (87), and Bro. Mark BRUSSELAERS (93) are still autonomous despite their old age. The General Exactor and the Assistant CEF visited all three confreres and with them they reviewed the current situation and and plan for the future.
The two visitors from Rome also met with the community of Brussels together with the Guardian, Friar Daniel THEVENET.
The Custodial Definitely of France-Belgium, which was meeting in Brussels at this time, was availed upon for certain matters. All the members of the Definitory were present with the Custos, Friar Jean-Francois M. AUCLAIR. The Community of Brussels and the Custodial Definitory discussed some financial matters related to the Brussels Church and assistance to the three friars of Belgium.
