On Feb. 8, 2025, the Provincial Custody of the Immaculate Conception of the B.V.M. in Brazil joyfully celebrated a Mass during which five young friars made their simple profession of vows. The ceremony took place at the Conventual Franciscan São Francisco de Assis Parish Church in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.
The newly professed are: Friars Adilson FERNANDES DOS SANTOS, Gabriel Florenço DIAS, Jaime Sabino VILLA VALDEZ, Marcos de Jesus MACHADO and Ramon Diego DO NASCIMENTO.
The friars of the Custody also thanked the Lord on behalf of Friar Humberto MESSIAS DE LIMA, who celebrated the 25th anniversary of his simple profession of vows (February 8, 2000).
We give praise and glory to God for the gift of life and the vocation of these confreres: May God continue to sustain them on their journey.
