On September 16-18, 2024, the friars of the Provincial Delegation of St. Anthony of Padua in Northeast Brazil, of the Province of St. Maximilian M. Kolbe in Brazil, gathered for a fraternal and formational meeting.
The event took place in the Friars Minor Friary of Santa Maria dos Anjos, in the city of Penedo, Alagoas State, Brazil. With the Provincial Delegate, Friar José de Arimatéia AUTRAN FEITOZA, presiding, the participants elected two councilors: Friars Luiz Carlos DO NASCIMENTO and Israel Fernando DA SILVA SOBRINHO.
Future areas of work for the new Delegation were outlined, including proposals for formation, vocations, future presences for the implantatio ordinis and financial organization.
