On December 11-15, 2023, the Provincial Custody of the Immaculate Conception of the B.V.M. in Brazil conducted its annual retreat at the Seráfico Santo Antônio Seminary in Santos Dumont, State of Minas Gerais, Brazil.
Friar Geraldo MONTEIRO of the Province of St. Francis in Brazil (São Paulo) guided this fruitful event in a profound and brilliant way, through reflections on the chapters of the Later Rule of St. Francis. On December 14, 2023, the friars celebrated Mass at the nearby Shrine Church of São Miguel e Almas. The Provincial Custos, Friar Carlos Roberto de Oliveira CHARLES presided, with the people of God present and other friars concelebrating.
We praise and thank God for granting us this opportune time of reflection, prayer and meditation. We thank Friar Geraldo MONTEIRO for his generosity and for his willingness to lead this retreat.
