At 7:00 p.m., on February 8, 2018, two friars from the Provincial Custody of the Immaculate Conception of the B.V.M. in Brazil professed temporary vows. The event took place at the Church of São Francisco de Assis, next to the Custody’s headquarters, in Rio de Janeiro.
Friars Ricardo Elvis ARRUDA BEZERRA and Jesus RODRIGUES DO AMARAL professed their first vows into the hands of the Provincial Custos, Friar Ronaldo Gomes DA SILVA. The friars of the Custody were very happy because these were the first temporary professions the Custody has celebrated in six years.
