On July 3-5, 2026, two youth and vocation ministers from the Delegation in Portugal, Friars José Carlos CERDEIRA MATIAS and Andrea SCALVINI, organized a vocation camp entitled, “Called… What About You?” The event took place in Fátima, Portugal.
For three days, a group of young people experienced a time of prayer, fraternity, and vocational discernment. Drawing on the Franciscan Sources and Sacred Scripture, they journeyed through key moments in the life of St. Francis of Assisi and reflected on God’s call and the beauty of following Christ in the spirit of St. Francis.
During the camp, the young people took part in Mass, Eucharistic adoration, periods of silence, the Sacrament of Reconciliation, and fraternal life, all of which helped them listen to the Lord in an atmosphere of freedom and simplicity.
