On February 26, 2022, Friar Gabriel Myeong-woo RYU, a member of the Province of St. Maximilian M. Kolbe in South Korea, received the Ministry of Lector. The event took place at the St. Peter Yoo Dae Cheo Friary and Post-Novitiate in Ganghwa-Incheon, South Korea.
The ceremony was presided over by the Minister Provincial, Friar Marco Jin Chol JEONG. The Ministry of Lector was conferred during the celebration of solemn Evening Prayer I on the 8th Sunday of Ordinary Time. At the end of the ceremony, the friars enjoyed a few moments of fraternity and celebration.
Friar Gabriel Myeong-woo was born on October 28, 1992, in Seoul, South Korea. He made his simple profession on June 26, 2020.
