On August 14, 2023, the Province of St. Maximilian M. Kolbe in South Korea celebrated the solemnity of its own patron saint at the St. Francis of Assisi Friary in Seoul. During the Mass, Friar Paschal Baylon Sung-jin PARK made his solemn profession.
The celebration was presided over by the Minister Provincial, Friar Marco Jin Chol JEONG. The friars of the Province took part in the celebration, together with the family of Friar Paschal and the faithful.
In his homily, the Minister Provincial spoke about the meaning of consecrated life and the vows. He stressed that everyone should become a friend of apostolic poverty and practice penance for salvation.
We give thanks to God Most High for this confrere of ours, and we pray for his holiness and vocation.
