On December 20, 2018, the Province of St. Maximilian M. Kolbe in South Korea, celebrated some priestly and diaconal ordinations.
The ordinations took place at the parish church of St. Clare (Kalsan) in the Diocese of Incheon, Korea.
The priesthood was conferred upon Friar Macario Soon-hyun GO through the laying on of hands of the Most Reverend John Baptist Jung SHIN-CHUL, Bishop of Incheon. He also ordained two deacons, Friars Angelo Min-seok KIM and Pietro Jae-hee SHIN. There were two additional deacons ordained who were not part of our Order.
Several friars from the various fraternities of the Province participated in the celebration, along with some diocesan and religious priests from different religious communities who are close to the life and work of the friars.
May the Most High and Good Lord continue to guide these three confreres on the path of faithfulness and generous self-offering. May their lives be made a testimony of the love and mercy of God, for the benefit of the Church and our Order.
