In keeping with the festive atmosphere of thanksgiving for the upcoming Franciscan centenaries, the Pontifical Theological Faculty of St. Bonaventure in Rome (Seraphicum) is pleased to announce that it will start off 2023 by extending its academic offerings with a course for all Spanish-speaking Franciscans.

On January 12, 2023, the Faculty will launch a course entitled, “In the Footsteps of Francis and Clare of Assisi.” The course is aimed at all those interested in basic formation in Franciscan spirituality. It will last two years and its tuition will be very affordable. The course will explore the most important themes surrounding the charism of St. Francis and St. Clare of Assisi, and follow the development of this charism by the great Franciscan masters of the 13th century. The course will also include aspects of Franciscan studies specific to Latin America, in order to highlight the impact of the charism in the history of that region up to the present day.
