On February 1, 2025, Friar Michael LASKY taught an online class on Franciscan Prayer and JPIC (Justice, Peace and Integrity of Creation) as part of a course entitled, “Spirit of Francis: Franciscan Nurturing and Spiritual Direction.”
The course, designed by the European Province of the Anglican Franciscan Order, is a joint venture of the First Order Anglican Friars and the Anglican Secular Franciscans. The course is delivered via the Zoom Internet platform and takes place monthly for two years. It aims to train spiritual directors, nurturers, and “quiet day” leaders who are empathetic, attentive listeners, and have a working knowledge of other spiritualities.
