On November 9-11, 2021, the Federation of Asian Minors Conventual (FAMC) conducted its annual meeting of Superiors and Delegates by means of the Zoom Internet platform.
The Minister General, Friar Carlos TROVARELLI, carefully followed all the proceedings.
On the first day, as usual, the Superiors and Delegates gave updates on the general status of each Jurisdiction.
On the second day, Friar Maximilianus Kalef SEMBIRING, the Vice-Secretary of the General Secretariat for Formation (SGF), gave a presentation on the revised Franciscan Discipleship document. After his presentation, there was time to ask questions and express opinions. Next, each member shared the status of ongoing formation in his local Jurisdiction.
On the third day, Friar Gilson Miguel NUNES, the Delegate of the Minister General for the Assistance of the Militia of the Immaculate [M.I.], took the opportunity to greet the FAMC members, and also distributed the M.I. Assistance Directory.
The next meeting is scheduled for November of 2022, in Korea.
