On October 26, 2023, at 9:30 a.m., Friar Raphael M. YSULAN, a member of the Provincial Custody of the Immaculate Conception and Bl. Bonaventure of Potenza in the Philippines, professed his solemn vows into the hands of the Custos, Friar Emmanuel GIVA. The event occurred on the Memorial of Blessed Bonaventure of Potenza, the secondary Patron of the Custody, and was held at the St. Maximilian Kolbe Parish Church in Quezon City, the Philippines.
Friar Raphael was born Kenneth Rey YSULAN on December 2, 1995, in Tacurong City, Province of Sultan Kudarat, the Philippines. He began the postulancy program on June 13, 2013 and entered the novitiate on September 8, 2015, taking the name Friar Raphael. He made his first profession of vows on September 8, 2016. He completed his philosophy studies at the Rogationist Seminary College [Paranaque City, Philippines] in May of 2021. He is currently in his first year of theology studies at the Don Bosco School of Theology [Paranaque City, Philippines].
On at 4:00 p.m., on the same day, again at the St. Maximilian Mary Kolbe Parish, Friar Paulus M. SABATER was ordained to the priesthood through the imposition of the hands of the Most Reverend Roberto O. GAA, D.D., Bishop of Novaliches, Philippines.
Friar Paulus was born Anthony Paul SABATER on September 1, 1982, in Taguig, Metro Manila, the Philippines. He began the postulancy program on June 12, 2014, and entered the novitiate on September 8, 2015. He made his first profession of vows on September 8, 2016. He graduated with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Philosophy from the St. Alexis Center of Studies [Muntinlupa City, Philippines] in March of 2022 and made his solemn profession of vows, taking the name Friar Paulus. He completed his theology studies at the Don Bosco School of Theology in April of 2022 and was ordained to the diaconate on October 26, 2022
