On August 15, 2020, the Solemnity of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary, seven novices of the Federation of Asian Minors Conventual (FAMC) made their first profession of vows. The event took place at the common novitiate in Tagaytay City, the Philippines.

The newly professed are Friars Martin GABITO, Isidore Ayon-AYON, Augustine ASILO and Samuel BUEN from the Provincial Custody of the Immaculate Conception and Bl. Bonaventure of Potenza in the Philippines; and Friars Joachim Vinh Văn PHAN, Joseph Tiễn Quang TRẦN, and John Baptist Lập Văn PHAN from the Delegation in Vietnam.
Friar Francis Victor MATEO, the Provincial Custos of the Philippines, received the temporary vows of the friars from the Philippines, for one year. Friar Francis Victor also received the temporary vows of the friars from Vietnam, for three years, having been delegated to do so by Friar Victor ABEGG, the Minister Provincial of the Province of St. Joseph of Cupertino in the USA.
During the homily, Friar Francis Victor emphasized that in professing their vows, the friars commit themselves to their vocation with the required full understanding of the responsibilities that such a commitment implies. Moreover, they must make this commitment of their own free will, without fear or malice. He also highlighted the role of the Blessed Virgin Mary in the work of salvation, noting her example of faithfulness to the will of God, and commenting that her assumption is an assurance of our goal, namely, eternal life.
The celebration ended with an agape meal attended by the resident friars, their formators and some friars from Multinational, Paranaque City who also assisted during the Mass.
