On March 25, 2026, Friar Gabriel Akira FUJIEDA professed his solemn vows. The ceremony took place at the Immaculate Conception of the B.V.M. Friary (Seibo no Kishi) in Nagasaki, Japan.
The Mass was celebrated in a solemn and intimate atmosphere in the presence of the Minister Provincial, Friar Lucas Shinichiro TANIZAKI, as well as friars from other localities, family members, faithful, and several nuns.
During the rite, Friar Gabriel professed his definitive commitment before God to live as a disciple of St. Francis, consecrating his life to the Lord within the fraternity of the Friars Minor Conventual. Then the other friars present joyfully welcomed the newly professed, confirming their fraternal support in his vocational journey. The friars took part in the celebration with deep spiritual devotion, a sign of ecclesial communion and the vitality of consecrated life.
After the ceremony, everyone gathered in a joyful, fraternal atmosphere to celebrate this important step in Friar Gabriele’s life.
