The friars of the Province of St. Maximilian M. Kolbe in India are delighted that five of their deacons have been ordained to the priesthood.
On Sunday, December 27, 2020, at 2:30 p.m., Friars Martin CHITTINAPPILLY and Rony KALAPURACKAL were ordained to the priesthood by the Most Reverend Matthew VANIAKIZHAKEL, C.V., Bishop Emeritus of Satna (Syro-Malabar), India. The ordination took place at the St. Francis of Assisi Church in Karukutty.
On Friday, January 1, 2021, at 9:00 a.m., Friar Jeo KALAPURAYIL was ordained to the priesthood by the Most Reverend George NJARALAKATT, Archbishop of Tellicherry (Syro-Malabar), India. The ordination took place at the St. Marys Forane Church in Alakode.
On Saturday, February 6, 2021, at 9:15 a.m., Friar Jithin PUNNASSERY was ordained to the priesthood by the Most Reverend Sebastian VANIYAPURACKAL, Curial Bishop of Ernakulam-Angamaly (Syro-Malabar), India. The ordination took place at the St. Thomas Church in Olivemount.
On February 7, 2021, at 9:30 a.m., Friar Sonu MELEDATHU was also ordained to the priesthood by Bishop VANIYAPURACKAL. The ordination took place at the Holy Family Church in Kattapuram, Koratty.
